CHILDHOOD DESTINIES OF JESUS AND MUHAMMAD
Jesus and Muhammad were first born sons. Muhammad’s father died before he was born. Jesus’ father Joseph, played an important role in His birth. In the Muslim culture if on your wedding night the wife was found not to be a virgin the husband can forgive her but the family had the right to kill her for their honor. Thank God Joseph was obedient to the angel that commanded him to take Mary to be his wife (Matthew 1:20) because Jesus’ mission on earth never would have taken place and we would not have a chance to have a relationship with God because no one would do in God’s eyes. Only Jesus’ blood would have saved us. In the Jewish law/tradition Joseph would have received public disgrace but he was obedient to God because he loved God. It was better for him to obey than to sacrifice being disgraced.
Jesus and Muhammad both have prophecies but Jesus’ prophecies starts when he was an infant and Muhammad as an older child.
Jesus was brought up with godly parents who feared, respect and obeyed God. Muhammad was brought up where many gods were worshipped which made him sick to his stomach. He said when he gets older he would not bow down to one of those idols.
Every year Jesus’ parents would travel to Jerusalem for the Passover feast and one day Jesus stayed behind and listened to the teachers of the law and he even asked questions. Jesus’ parents were upset with Him because they had to go back and get Him and He said, “Didn’t you know that I had to be in my Father’s house?”(Luke 2:48-49). Jesus wanted to be in the temple to learn but Muhammad was drawn away from the temple because of the many gods being worshiped. They both only wanted to give honor to one God. They both had a mission with their message and they both affected the entire world. One died and stay dead as Abu Bakar said “if you worship Muhammad know that he is dead, if you worship God know that he lives forever.” Jesus is God the son, He died but He conquered death and rose again. Jesus lives, Muhammad died.
