Lighthouse
The light from a lighthouse is used to guide
or steer ships away from being too close to
shore where dangerous rocks are that can
destroy them or anything or anybody else.
Jesus, the Son of God is also a lighthouse
but a lighthouse for mankind. His light
shines on us to guide us and lead us on the
right path and in the right direction.
When we find ourselves in trouble or lost
and can’t find our way, we ask Jesus to
shine His light on us as the song, “Shine On
Me”, is sung. “Let Your light from the lighthouse…”
From now on when you realize that you can’t
find your way back to God, you have to remember
the song, “Shine On Me”, and Jesus will shine
His light in your direction to guide your path.
If you don’t see that light, it means that you
have gone off course and need to find the
right path.
Remember, Jesus is the light of the world.
