ARE YOU THIRSTY?

Are You Thirsty?

Are you thirsty for God?  You should be because

it will be for your benefit to be thirsty for God.

When you are thirsty for God you want to always

please Him.  You don’t want to do anything that

will offend Him. 

When you grow spiritually dry, sin has a way of

moving into your life.  That dryness gives you a

longing to hear from God and you do that by

searching the scriptures to gain more knowledge

about Him.  This knowledge leads you to increase

your faith which leads you to thirst to be closer to Him.

In being closer to God you receive His strength that

He bestows upon you.  So if you find yourself being

spiritually thirsty, draw nearer to God, (Psalm 73:28).

God will quench that thirst you have for Him and He

will also give you a deeper thirst for Him.  With this

deeper thirst for God you will learn to want/desire

Him above everything else.

God will be first in your life, (Psalm 73:25).
