DON'T REPLACE FATHER, SON OR SON OF GOD FROM THE TEXT OF SCRIPTURE

Friends:

Biblical Missiology has registered an online petition asking Wycliffe,
Frontiers and SIL to not remove or replace Father, Son or Son of God
from the text of Scripture. This is an important issue, and I'd urge
you to sign the petition, leave a comment, and ask others in your
networks to do the same. You can read more about the petition, and add

Feel free to be creative about how you can encourage others to add
their voice. Your email distribution lists, Facebook, web sites, etc.
are all good places to make this public. And please encourage people
to forward the petition. As one proponent of these translations said,
it is only when the "man in the pew" expresses concern that their
agency would need to respond. So please pray, and ask others for help
in preserving the integrity of God's word.
